TRIBES
BY NINA RAINE
Tribes was produced as part of Rude Mechanicals' 2015-16 Main Stage season.
Billy was born deaf. Sylvia is going deaf.
From the moment he was born, Billy’s family had done their best to give him a normal childhood. But all of that goes out the door the minute Sylvia walks into his life. Now, faced with the opportunity to integrate into a community he’s been missing out on, Billy is forced to chose between his own happiness or remaining with his tribe.
